Welcome! Here we go again, the sun is beating down and summer is here, well for a week or so at least. Worse than that though those meddlesome little b***ers on the side of the Thames have decided that it is time to have a go at off roaders again. Read my editorial to find out more. The sharper eyed amongst you will notice that we are running the Touareg article again this month. No its not a mistake, just that we have taken their shilling for a bit of advertising. So read it again, buy the car and tell them we sent you! Also this month I enjoy driving the new Lexus RX300 around Sardinia, whilst David Hatherill doesn't enjoy driving around America. Last week a group of MPs lead by Norman Baker the Liberal Democrat Environment Spokesman and MP for Lewes announced a campaign to try and rid the city streets of off roaders citing that they are too big, too polluting and too dangerous. The aim is to create the sort of backlash that has happened in parts of the US where the anti-SUV lobby is fighting hard. ANDY BLOIS points out the error of their ways.... 
Amid all the fanfare of this years crop of new off roaders the new version of the Lexus RX300 got rather lost. Is it just an also ran, or does it deserve to come out from the shadows and be counted? ANDY BLOIS went to Sardinia to find out....
